Krakowska Hagada kobiet ujrzy światło dzienne. Oby niosła nadzieję na przyszłość, oby zwiastowała wyjście z niewoli ku wolności. A do uczestniczek naszych zgromadzeń, do każdej z osobna, chciałabym skierować błogosławieństwo, sformułowane również przez poetkę Merle Feld: „Bądź, kim jesteś – i bądź błogosławiona za wszystko, czym jesteś”.I have cherished the idea of a women’s Haggadah for a long time – ever since I read and translated Merle Feld’s poem We All Stood Together. But to make it real, a community of women who would like to write it should be created. This is why on the invitation from the participants, I have willingly joined the Kol Isha project. In the spirit of the Haggadah to be created, I saw myself as performing the role of a midwife, helping it to be born. [.]
The Haggadah of Kraków will come to light. Let it bring hope for the future, let it announce the exodus from slavery to freedom. To the participants of our meetings – to all of them and to every single one – I would like to address the words of the blessing, written by Merle Feld: “Be who you are, and be blessed for everything that you are.”
