ShareX Overview
For example, it doesn’t just grab individual windows and a full screen. You can also capture rectangles, ellipses, triangles, diamonds, polygons, or freehand shapes. There’s support for multi-monitor systems and even a screen capture tool to save desktop activity as an AVI or animated GIF.
It can process any image you might grab in many ways. You can crop, resize or rotate it; annotate it with lines, arrows, shapes, text boxes, and more; obscure confidential details (passwords, say) with the obfuscator; customize it with a watermark, or apply special effects, including borders, shadows, torn edges and more.
After recording, it can automatically make various edits and watermark your pictures. In addition to a copy on the disk, ShareX automatically downloads the captured screenshot to a web service. Choices include imageshack.us, tinypic.com, imgur.com, and Flickr.
ShareX also shares texts and other files. Various text and file hosters, such as blacklisted_site or sendspace, are available. After setting up the settings, you can also use a Dropbox or Google account.
