Patran is an integrating environment and graphical shell for MD Nastran, MSC Nastran, Marc, Dytran, Sinda, ANSYS and other finite element analysis systems. Patran provides import of geometric models from CAD systems, creation of calculation models, graphical display and processing of the obtained results.
Patran is a pre- and post-processor, that is, it does not contain solvers and serves only to prepare models for calculation and view the calculation results!
Solvers (for example, Nastran) must be downloaded and installed separately.
