Otra muestra más de la genialidad de Pedro Víctor Debrigode Dugi (en este caso bajo el seudónimo de P. V. Debrigode), que fue publicada por Ediciones Lux aproximadamente en 1948. La colección propiamente dicha consta de 10 novelas en formato de 19 x 13 y a doble columna (según usos de la época) y con ilustraciones de Eugenio Giner (creo). No obstante, de este personaje (Ross Maloney) aparecieron un total de diecisiete novelas (que sepamos). Pues además de las diez aparecidas en esta colección, se habían publicado años antes -en 1944- otras seis dentro de la colección Superhombres, siendo Ross Maloney inseparable compañero de Red Colt, ‘El ametrallador’ -números 1,4,6,8,10 y 14 de la colección Superhombres-. Y posteriormente, en noviembre de 1952, dentro de la colección Servicio Secreto, apareció el nº 123, “Tres en el infierno”, en la que uno de los tres es Ross Maloney, al del que se hace referencia en alguna ocasión a su sobrenombre de ‘Capitán Pantera’, esta vez como espía norteamericano en plena segunda guerra mundial con una misión que cumplir en Holanda.
