Unapproved parts are one of the most overlooked risks in aerospace, aviation, defense, and other safety-critical industries. Unlike defective or counterfeit parts, unapproved parts often appear correct, come from trusted suppliers, and pass inspection-yet still create serious product safety, configuration control, and regulatory risk.

This course provides practical awareness of unapproved parts, explaining how they differ from counterfeit parts, why authorization failures occur, and how unapproved parts commonly enter the supply chain. You will learn how these issues are recognized in real organizations, why inspection alone is insufficient, and what proper segregation, containment, and reporting look like under disciplined quality systems.

The course also focuses on prevention, showing how supplier controls, configuration management, documentation discipline, and organizational culture reduce authorization risk before problems occur.

Designed for professionals working under AS9100, FAA, and similar regulatory environments, this course emphasizes system-level control, escalation awareness, and product safety-not rule memorization or blame.

This training supports engineers, quality professionals, auditors, managers, and supply chain personnel who need practical awareness of authorization risk and a clear understanding of how disciplined systems protect safety, compliance, and organizational credibility.

Plot:  Below the streets of New York is a dark and dangerous world hidden in the shadows of abandoned subway tunnels and miles of forgotten infrastructure.
