The focus is on the intelligent use of the depth map, which is automatically generated using cutting-edge AI technology when a photo is uploaded. This depth analysis forms the basis for a wide range of spatial effects and allows image content to be designed not just two-dimensionally, but with tangible spatial depth.
A standout feature is spatial exposure. It allows you to place light in specific depth areas of the image-for example, warm illumination in the foreground or cool brightening in the background. Using adjustable radii and color parameters, you can intuitively direct the viewer’s attention and create a harmonious lighting atmosphere. Combined with flash simulation, this opens up a completely new way of post-production lighting design. The position of the simulated flash can be freely selected; shadows and light gradients are automatically calculated based on the depth map. The result is a realistic recreation of studio lighting conditions-without any additional hardware.
Atmospheric effects are also an integral part of the software. The function for simulating atmospheric blueing is based on the physical principles of light scattering: In nature, distant objects often appear bluish because humidity and particles transmit short-wave light and absorb long-wave light. The blueing can be continuously adjusted across the image depth and customized in color.
For users who want to transform their images into a new visual experience, the software also offers an integrated 3D anaglyph view. This feature creates stereoscopic 3D images that can be viewed with red-cyan glasses. Based on the depth map, a left-right offset is simulated, giving the image an authentic three-dimensional effect – ideal for presentations, experiments, or creative implementations.
