The KORG Collection is a suite of software synthesizers that methodically and accurately recreates the authentic sound and behavior of legendary KORG synthesizers for the present day and beyond. The KORG Collection project began with analogue synths such as the MS-20, Polysix and Mono/Poly, and has steadily evolved to include digital synths such as the world’s most popular synth, the legendary microKORG, the workstation classics M1 and TRITON, and physical modeling synthesis from the renowned Prophecy. The KORG Collection even includes the ARP ODYSSEY and ARP 2600, both revived for the 21st century by KORG.

In 2025, KORG added three legendary instruments to the KORG Collection – each an icon of its era, celebrated for their distinctive presence and heard over decades in countless classic tracks.

TRINITY – Released in 1995, this breakthrough synthesizer defined KORG in the 1990s. Its sleek silver body, futuristic TouchView GUI (the first synth with touchscreen operation), and exceptionally high-quality, large-scale PCM sound set new standards for synthesizers of its time. Now, on the 30th anniversary of its debut, it has been faithfully recreated in software form.
PS-3300 – Produced for only about five years, from 1977 to 1981, with less than 50 units ever made, this fully polyphonic analog synthesizer remains one of the rarest and most revered instruments in music history. Its massive sound engine equivalent to 144 MS-20s has been meticulously modeled with cutting-edge technology, and further enhanced with expanded contemporary functionality.
SGX-2 – The ultimate premium piano sound engine from KRONOS and NAUTILUS. It captures the tones of the world’s finest concert grand pianos, recorded in full-stereo, loopless samples for every single key. From the natural decay of each note to the organic resonance of chords, every detail reproduces the realism of a true acoustic piano.

Overview of KORG AudioGate 4
This software includes the ability to create high-resolution audio recordings. Install this program on your PC and connect it to the KORG DS-DAC-10R using a USB cable. The DS-DAC-10R supports the 5.6 MHz and 2.8 MHz DSD format for playback and recording and PCM formats up to 192 kHz/24-bit.
It supports a wide range of file formats, starting with MP3, AAC, and 44.1/48 kHz WAV and high-resolution formats such as 24 bit (96 / 192 kHz) WAV and FLAC, in addition, of course, to DSD. It can handle playlists that contain mixed bit resolutions, sample rates, and even different file formats.
With its powerful real-time conversion engine, you can now enjoy formats that were difficult to play on most audio devices, such as 1-bit DSD or high-resolution PCM such as 24/192, without being aware of differences in format.
It uses the computer’s power to perform the calculations necessary for D/A conversion instead of slower external hardware. This allows for ideal processing, retaining the audio’s original quality.

In response we made many improvements, including adding a second filter, a drive section, new modulation sources, extensive MIDI control, a sophisticated sequencer, up to 16-voice polyphony, and much more – all while keeping the spirit of the original ARP 2600 design.

Easy to learn
The ARP 2600 is the ideal way to learn about analog synthesis. The main signal path runs clearly from left to right. Unlike a modular synth, cables are completely optional; you can make incredible sounds just by moving the sliders. Everything’s there right in front of you – no scrolling required.We wanted to expand on this tradition of education and ease-of-use. A new silkscreen uses color to differentiate between signal sources, signal processors, modulation sources, and control modules. (If you prefer, of course, the original white-on-black silkscreen is also available.) When you decide to use cables, they show the signal flow direction, and inapplicable patch points fade into the background. On-screen help has information and useful tips for every slider, knob, switch, and jack.

Effects
The vintage ARP 2600 might have been the first all-in-one synth with built-in effects, in the form of its integrated spring reverb. We’ve kept the original spring reverb on the patch panel, but also brought the effects up to modern specifications with three insert effects and a dedicated reverb slot.There are 31 effects types to choose from, including vintage pedals, guitar amps, and tape echoes to modern reverse delays and shimmer reverb – taking the ARP 2600’s classic synth timbres to the next level.

Beauty in the details
Our engineers spent considerable time understanding every detail of the original and modern schematics, poring over the original ARP 2600 manuals, testing with oscilloscopes, and most importantly listening.
The original AR and ADSR envelopes, for example, might seem simple – but it took a lot of time and tweaking to get them just right. The oscillator waveforms are correct, including the slight imperfections that add a unique brightness (especially for the triangle and sine).
We modeled both of the original VCF modules, the 4012 and the 4072, with a switch to select between them. We included all of the many saturation points on the original hardware, with subtle distortions that bring life to the sound. Extensive anti-aliasing techniques spread throughout the different modules let us deliver truly premium audio quality. KORG’s Component Modeling Technology (CMT) includes variations between analog components, just as you’d find with multiple hardware 2600s, to deliver natural richness when playing polyphonically.

The greatest collection of software of all time
The KORG Collection is a collection of software synthesizers that methodically and accurately reproduce the authentic sounds and behavior of legendary KORG synthesizers for today and the future. The KORG Collection project began with analog models such as the MS-20 and Polysix and has gradually evolved to include digital models such as the classic M1 and TRITON workstations, as well as physical simulations of the famous Prophecy.
For 2024, KORG is adding three new internationally beloved instruments to the KORG Collection, each with their own mark on music history.
First up, the ARP 2600: the legendary industry-changing synthesizer introduced in 1971 that had a stunning influence on jazz, rock, pop and funk in the ’70s and was featured in many Hollywood films. KORG has meticulously recreated and re-released the ARP 2600 in 2020 as the ARP 2600 FS/ARP 2600M, the ARP 2600 FS has been meticulously re-created and re-released for the KORG Collection.
Secondly, the VOX Super Continental: This carefully modeled combo organ first appeared in the 1960s and was used extensively in British Invasion era music of the 60s, as well as ska and new wave in the 70s and 80s. Finally, the EP-1: The EP-1 models the electric pianos that first appeared in the 1960s and have become a favorite in soul, jazz and pop music ever since. This plugin is based on MDS (Multi-Dimensional Synthesis) technology developed for the famous Korg KRONOS and NAUTILUS synthesizers.
KORG Collection 5 is now available, covering a wide range of iconic sounds representing every era, music and culture.
Authentic sound combining KORG audio prowess
The KORG Collection faithfully reproduces some of the legendary KORG synthesizers used and recognized around the world. Created under the guidance of original developers and consultants, this collection offers "the real" in software form – only from KORG.
KORG’s renowned component modeling technology, CMT, is used to convey a sense of organic and unexpected characteristics unique to some of the greatest analog synthesizers ever made. ARP 2600 and MS-20 – These analog keyboards are carefully modeled to incorporate the unique characteristics and features of each synthesizer. Digital synthesizer models are fully loaded with thousands of PCM/sound programs. In addition, M1 includes 34 original expansion cards, WAVESTATION includes 7 original expansion cards, and TRITON includes 8 original expansion cards, all of which were previously sold separately. All the iconic "sounds" that everyone recognizes are included.
New feature for modern music production
The KORG Collection reproduces the original equipment with carefully selected enhancements needed for music production. The collection also includes polyphonic versions of what were originally monophonic synthesizers, not possible in the originals, as well as support for virtual patches, high-quality effects, and a convenient browser feature that allows you to search through a variety of audio programs. Another important detail is the user-friendly graphical user interface, designed for fast and intuitive use.
Plugins for the sounds you’ve always wanted
KORG Collection can be used as a standalone product or as a plugin* for AU, VST3 and AAX in a variety of production environments on Mac and Windows. These timeless, legendary sounds will add color to any musical production.
