You will become the Viceroy and save the city through a series of severe trials that hit the snowy post-apocalyptic landscape like an avalanche. Build districts, take into account the needs of residents, and resolve conflicts between factions. Only you can manage the growing settlement and turn it into a prosperous metropolis.

The city is growing
An eternal winter has fallen on the world, which directly threatens all of humanity. Cities need fuel and resources, and residents will not last long without food and heat. In the game Frostpunk 2 you have to solve all the problems associated with this.
City districts
Your city is divided into several zones, each of which has its own task. You need to expand the territory and establish a process of cooperation between regions.
Special buildings
Over time, you will have to build a Council Chamber and a research institute, because this is where they will work on laws and projects that regulate the life of the entire city.
Colonies
Surviving in the frozen wasteland is the bare minimum, but to become a prosperous city, you need to expand your sphere of influence. You will be able to acquire colonies, and with them new resources.
Someone else’s soul – darkness
As the number of residents increases, so does the responsibility for them – everyone has their own needs and aspirations. You will have to balance between the interests of groups of people and the city as a whole.
New Londoners
Your citizens can form communities and factions, each with their own ideas for the future of the city. In the Council Chamber you will pass laws and discuss them with faction representatives.

Supporting one faction will inevitably lead to worsening relations with the other, so choose wisely and listen to the arguments of each side.
Forward to progress
Create the city’s future at a research institute. You will entrust new projects to factions, which means that you will have to negotiate and create strategic alliances.
Factions
Residents of your city also want to decide how to live. Each faction has its own ideology and vision for the future, but they have one thing in common – an insatiable thirst for power. Allies should be chosen with care and proper preparation.

Installation/Troubleshooting
Before starting installation, it is recommended to shut down background programs, including antiviruses!
1. Run the installation file setup.exe
2. Install the game.
3. Play from a shortcut on the desktop or start menu (or through an .exe file in the game folder).
If you encounter errors when installing my or any other repacks (especially Xdelta or with Unarc.dll), try the following:
If nothing happens after selecting the installer language, set it in Control Panel → Internet Options (browser) → Security → Other → Launch programs and unsafe files → Enable. [Instructions with pictures]
Rehash the torrent! – for example, in uTorrent you need to select a game, press stop, right-click and select "Force re-check".
Make sure that your Windows username does not contain Russian or other non-Latin letters – only Latin letters and numbers are allowed
Disable the antivirus – it may falsely trigger medication, which will either interrupt the installation of the repack, or simply prevent the game from starting
Disable UAC – it may block unpacking/building programs inside the installer
Make sure that the size of your virtual memory (swap file) is no less than the amount of physical memory, or better yet, twice as large.
Make sure you have enough space on the target hard drive and on the drive containing your Windows temporary files.
Try to install the game NOT on the C: drive, or vice versa – ON the C: drive, if it is not installed on another – rights in Windows are like that…
Look to see if there is an unarc.dll file in the Windows system folder (and deeper). If it exists, remove it
Run the installer with the rights as shown in the picture ("Properties" menu when you right-click on the file):
