With this original reading list you get the perfect tool to enjoy Kristen Painter and her Nocturne Falls Universe in the way they where meant to be enjoyed.

For your enjoyment the books have been chronicled in a table format, so that it is easy to check off or highlight whichever books you have already read. You can also use the built-in highlight feature to highlight all the books read as your finish them.

I have listed out the original Nocturne Fall and Miss Frost books separate from the Universe series. And have also added comments when my suggested reading order is different than the published or, or in some cases disagrees with some other readers of the series. (I then also list why.)

This list includes all books written about Nocturne Falls published up to April 18, 2023.

This compilation edition includes the following updates: The latest Nocturne Falls stories; the rest of the Jayne Frost series, including a fun short story (I initially missed when I was reading the series because search is unhelpful); and the Frost & Crowe spin off series.


I have also include an updated list of 47 Nocturne Falls Universe Stories and Novellas – adding in the character types – so that it is easier to choose some additional authors to hopefully fall in love with new authors as well. Barnes & Noble only shows 18 in the series search – don’t worry I found the others, so if you search by name, they will come up.
