Obserwowaliśmy, jak naszym trzewikom namakają nosy. Ojciec nigdy nie chciał uwierzyć, że dzięcioł śmieje się jak człowiek. Zresztą mieszkały tam też inne ptaki, nie większe od kciuka. Była jesień, a śnieg spadł dopiero w marcu.
