wskazywali na potrzebę rozważań ontologicznych, pytali o to, jaki jest rzeczywisty byt,

świadomość, że pominięcie powyższych pytań może uczynić wątpliwym wartość
poznawczą dokonanych ustaleń oraz zastosowanych metod badawczych. Nie są oni
jedynymi, którzy podejmowali takie kwestie. Bogatsi o poczynione przez nich ustalenia,
kolejni socjologowie nie pomijają tych zagadnień i na wstępie podejmowanych
rozważań szczegółowych określali prezentowane stanowisko w kwestii podstawy
bytowej.
