Master distance, velocity, acceleration, Newton’s laws and motion graphs for OxfordAQA IGCSE Physics 9203

What you’ll learn
Explain the difference between distance and displacement and between speed and velocity using correct examples
Calculate acceleration using the equation a = change in velocity divided by time with full worked examples
Read and interpret distance-time graphs including gradient calculations to find speed at any point
Read and interpret velocity-time graphs including gradient for acceleration and area under graph for distance
Apply Newton’s First, Second and Third Laws of Motion to solve problems involving forces and motion
Calculate resultant forces for objects with parallel forces acting in the same and opposite directions
Use scale drawings to find the resultant of two forces acting at an angle to each other
Identify balanced and unbalanced forces and predict how each affects the motion of an object
Determine whether forces acting on an object are balanced or unbalanced and explain the effect on the object’s motion using Newton’s First and Second Laws
Requirements
It is helpful but not required to have completed P1 Forces and Interactions before starting this course. No prior knowledge of motion graphs or Newton’s laws is needed as every concept is built from the beginning. A basic calculator is needed for the acceleration and velocity calculations covered in this topic.
Description
This course covers P2 Forces and Motion from the OxfordAQA IGCSE Physics specification 9203 in full. Every lecture is built directly around the specification so there is nothing missing and nothing unnecessary.
P2 is one of the most important and heavily tested topics in the entire IGCSE Physics course. Distance-time graphs, velocity-time graphs, and Newton’s laws appear on almost every past paper. Students who master this topic early have a significant advantage across the rest of the course.
In this course you will learn the difference between distance and displacement, speed and velocity, and understand exactly why direction matters. You will calculate acceleration using the equation a = change in velocity divided by time, and learn how to read and interpret both distance-time graphs and velocity-time graphs with confidence.
You will explore Newton’s First, Second and Third Laws of Motion and understand how balanced and unbalanced forces affect the way objects move. The course explains how to calculate resultant forces for parallel forces and how to use scale drawings to find resultant forces acting at an angle.
The course also covers balanced and unbalanced forces in detail. You will learn why a resultant force of zero means an object stays still or moves at constant velocity, and why any non-zero resultant force causes acceleration. This links directly to Newton’s First and Second Laws and is one of the most commonly tested areas in P2 exam questions.
Every lecture includes worked exam-style examples and exam technique tips so you know exactly what the examiner is looking for. A downloadable interactive practice quiz is included with each lecture so you can test yourself immediately after watching.
This course is taught by Muneeb Farooq aka SUPERMUNEEEB, an IGCSE Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics specialist with 8 years of teaching experience across the UK, UAE, Bahrain and Pakistan.
Who this course is for
Students studying OxfordAQA IGCSE Physics specification 9203 who need structured revision for the P2 Forces and Motion topic
IGCSE students who struggle with motion graphs and want clear step-by-step explanations of distance-time and velocity-time graphs
Parents supporting their child through IGCSE Physics who want a reliable resource covering Newton’s laws and motion calculations

Flaws in a system’s architecture are often the costliest to fix and can’t be resolved by secure coding alone.

What you’ll learn
Flaws in a system’s architecture are often the costliest to fix and can’t be resolved by secure coding alone. In this course, OWASP: Insecure Design, you’ll learn how to integrate security into the very foundation of your software.
First, you’ll explore lightweight threat modeling using STRIDE and abuse cases to find weaknesses before a single line of code is written. Next, you’ll discover how to apply core security-by-design principles to protect sensitive data, enforce trust boundaries, and prevent common architectural CWEs. Finally, you’ll learn how to incorporate security reviews and Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) into your SDLC to ensure security is a repeatable part of your engineering culture.
When you’re finished with this course, you’ll have the skills and knowledge needed to architect resilient systems and mitigate the #4 OWASP top ten risk: Insecure Design.

Level: Intermediate | Genre: eLearning | Language: English + subtitle | Duration: 1h 39m | Size: 311 MB

Kafka failures are subtle until they break your pipeline. This course will teach you how to operate, monitor, scale, and troubleshoot KRaft-based Kafka clusters so they remain reliable, observable, and production-ready.

What you’ll learn
Kafka clusters degrade quietly. Lag rises, replicas fall behind, and storage pressure builds until performance collapses.
In this course, Operate and Monitor Kafka Clusters, you’ll gain the ability to operate KRaft-based Kafka clusters safely in production.
First, you’ll explore the core operational responsibilities needed for healthy brokers, partitions, and replicas.
Next, you’ll discover how to monitor Kafka’s health and performance metrics using JMX, CLI tools, and dashboards.
Finally, you’ll learn how to scale, tune, and troubleshoot Kafka clusters so they remain stable, observable, and ready for real workloads.
When you’re finished, you’ll have the skills and knowledge required to run reliable, observable, and scalable Kafka clusters using the modern KRaft architecture.

Instructor: Marcel Rummens

Learn the fundamentals of OpenShift by installing a local cluster, operating core Kubernetes resources, deploying containerized applications, and troubleshooting basic connectivity issues to confidently run workloads on the OpenShift platform.

What you’ll learn

Running containerized workloads in production requires more than basic Kubernetes knowledge. You need to understand how enterprise platforms like OpenShift extend Kubernetes and streamline cluster operations. In this course, OpenShift Fundamentals and Workload Deployment, you’ll gain the ability to confidently deploy, manage, and troubleshoot applications in an OpenShift environment.

First, you’ll explore how OpenShift builds on Kubernetes and set up a local cluster for hands-on practice. Next, you’ll discover how to work with core resources using both the web console and the oc CLI. Finally, you’ll learn how to deploy and expose containerized applications, scale and update them, and resolve common connectivity issues.

When you’re finished with this course, you’ll have the skills and knowledge of OpenShift fundamentals needed to operate a cluster, manage core workloads, and troubleshoot basic application problems in real-world environments.
