Settling into the new pace of his life, Casey Sullivan thought that he’d left behind the idiocy of people with overinflated senses of self worth. The young Gladewalker Elk, a fantastical creature that hunters prize as one of the greatest types of prey, has decided to tag along with Casey’s adventures. Now whether that is to repay the favor, or because he likes the snacks that Casey has with him is entirely up to the judgment of the observer.
As a trio of misfits, Casey, Maude, and the Gladewalker Elk have to find a way to slip out of the Bronze Fist lands before someone notices the missing scion and figures out what happened to him. All while still moving north, drawn by the call of the Roaring Mountain clan, where Casey hopes to reunite with his friend Einar.
Steelforged Legacy is a progression fantasy, men’s romance, western cultivation story that takes heavy inspiration from classic cultivation and combines it with an alternate take on Norse mythology. In the year 2113, US 101st Airborne Corporal Will Miller regains consciousness
inside a transport vessel that has crashed on its journey home. Everyone
around him is dead. He has no idea where he is or who shot him, and
his squad down. He soon discovers he?s on one of the moons orbiting
Mars, not far from the main colony and his transport back to Earth.

Two members of a mining team stationed on the moon come out to investigate.
They take Miller back to their base, where he manages to send out a
call for help. He has 90 minutes to wait for rescue. But those 90 minutes
are going to feel like a lifetime. Miller quickly realizes that something
in the station is wrong. There seems to be more to this place than meets
the eye. Strange and unsettling events suggest things are not quite
as they appear. As the minutes until his rescue tick by and he begins
to finally figure out what is going on, Miller is forced to confront
echoes from his past as well as his deepest fears in a situation that
is becoming more terrifying by the second. And he soon learns that some

Although the most famous concentration camps are those under the Nazis, the use of concentration camps originated several decades before the Third Reich, in the Philippines and in the Boer War, and they have been used again in numerous locations, not least during the genocide in Bosnia. They have become defining symbols of humankind’s lowest point and basest acts. In this book, Dan Stone gives a global history of concentration camps, and shows that it is not only "mad dictators " who have set up camps, but instead all varieties of states, including liberal democracies, that have made use of them. Setting concentration camps against the longer history of incarceration, he explains how the ability of the modern state to control populations led to the creation of this extreme institution. Looking at their emergence and spread around the world, Stone argues that concentration camps serve the purpose, from the point of view of the state in crisis, of removing a section of the population that is perceived to be threatening, traitorous, or diseased.
