MKVToolNix 95.0 Stable + Portable​

MKVToolnix is a set of video utilities to make, alter and inspect Matroska MKV files for free. MKVToolnix works as the mkvmerge GUI and mkvextract GUI. mkvmerge is to merge multimedia streams into a Matroska MKV file, while mkvextract (with MKVExtractGUI2) is to extract audio, video or subtitle tracks from Matroska MKV files into other files.

Then, You could use MKVToolnix as a MKV Creator, MKV Muxing Tool, MKV Splitter, MKV Cutter or MKV Extractor.

Note: MKVToolnix Portable was updated to 6.7.0 (32-bit) on 2014/01/09.

What’s new in MKVToolnix 6.7.0?
It contains tons of bug fixes all over the place, but also a couple of enhancements.
The most important bug fix is probably the change to how MPLS files are handled.
This is the first release for which I’m providing 64bit binaries for Windows as well.

Overview of MKVToolNix
MKVToolnix is an advanced application that enables you to open, examine, edit, and mux Matroska files (.mkv). It also supports other popular video file types, audio tracks, and subtitles. The package includes separate command-line utilities for merging and extracting streams, viewing information, and editing headers and chapters. They are all wrapped up in a graphical interface in the Windows edition.
The tool lets you view, append, and take apart tracks, chapters, and tags and edit a wide range of data. You can set the track name, language, default, and forced track flags, tags, and time codes for general track options.
Moreover, you can set the aspect ratio, FPS, delay, stereoscopy mode, cropping, cues, compression mode, and custom command-line parameters for enhanced functionality. Can embed external files in the movie as attachments.

MKVToolNix 94.0​

MKVToolNix is a small collection of tools (mkvmerge, mkvinfo, mkvextract, mkvpropedit and mmg) that allows you to manipulate Matroska (MKV) files in several ways. You can use MKVToolNix to create, split, edit, mux, demux, merge, extract or inspect Matroska files. The program will also work with other video formats (AVI, MPEG, MP4, MPEG, Ogg/OGM, RealVideo, MPEG1/2, h264/AVC, Dirac, VC1) including some video codecs (such as VP9 video codec support – reading from IVF/Matroska/WebM files, extract to IVF files), audio (AAC, FLAC, MP2, MP3, (E)AC3, DTS/DTS-HD, Vorbis, RealAudio) and also most subtitle formats (SRT, PGS/SUP, VobSub, ASS, SSA etc.).
