System Information Viewer is a general Windows utility for displaying lots of useful Windows, Network and hardware info – CPU info, PCI info, PCMCIA info, USB info, Machine Info, Hardware Sensors, Networked computers, Operating System Information and more. I use Craig Hart’s pcidevs.txt file for my PCI device display with my usbdevs.txt being used for the USB devices, mondevs.txt for monitor descriptions and pcmdevs.txt for PCMCIA device descriptions.
This software is the portable version of System Information Viewer. As its title suggests, the tool lets you view various details about the system you are using.

Thanks to its portability, System Information Viewer doesn’t require installation. So, you can place the software on an external drive and directly run it on any computer. Plus, your Windows registry will not be changed.

The interface of the program is based on a standard window in which you can check out data about your operating system, resource usage, system physical memory, paging file and file cache, and others.

In addition, you can save local, PCI, DMI, DIMM SPD, selected or all data, copy the bitmap, view menus, battery, STC and MEM information, as well as access Registry Editor.

Furthermore, you can view information on processes, services and entries of programs which automatically run at system startup, get your IP address and a summary on the current and average CPU, run a CPU benchmark, change the interface language and temperature units, and more.

Portable System Information Viewer uses a low-to-moderate amount of system resources, includes a well-drawn help file with descriptions for rookies and didn’t freeze, crash or pop up errors during our tests. We highly recommend this tool to all users.

Jotting down various details you need to remember on Post-it notes and sticking them to most surfaces around your working area is effective until you start losing the small pieces of paper. Simple Sticky Notes is a program that offers a similar service, without the risk of losing any of the information.

While the concept behind the app is indeed simple, the program comes with an extensive list of customizable settings.

By default, the notes are yellow, but their color can be changed to any of the other available shades. The font name, style, size and color may be changed as well. Furthermore, the default title can be modified to display the date or time of creation.

This utility supports hotkeys. While these are already defined, they may be modified to suit your needs. Thus, you can create new notes, show or hide all the notes by simply pressing a few keys.

Alarms can also be created by defining the time and choosing one of the available sounds. The program lets you add MP3s, but some tones are available online.

You can modify the opacity of each note and give them a new color. They can also set them to always be on top of other frames.

The program comes with a few rich text editing tools. For instance, you can insert the date and time, create bullet lists and fiddle with the text alignment. Some enhancement options are also available, such as bold, italic, underline and strikeout. You can cut, copy and paste the content.

The bottom line is that Simple Sticky Note is a great app that you are sure to find useful. Figuring out how to work with this program is not complicated, so inexperienced users should have no problems.

Any measurement metric- The way in which you introduce the data is a general one. You don’t have to specify a metric. Just choose a metric in your mind and enter all data using that metric only.
Fractional input – You may introduce data either real as 100.5 or fractional as 100 1/2. Precision for fractions can be set from menu Settings. Do not mix real values with decimal separator (".") with fractional values. Choose one style and stick with it.
Adjustable cutting blade thickness- For glass cutting with diamond the cutting blade thickness is 0, but for wood, metal handling you need a saw with a greater thickness.
Adjustable limit for breakable parts – No waste will have a size lower than this parameter and no 2 parallel cuts will be closer than this. It is used in order to avoid the breaking of too small material. Useful in glass industry.
Maximal cut length – it allows you to limit the length of the cuts that may be performed.
Adhesive labels – printing adhesive labels for each part.
Grouping of identical sheets – You can group/ungroup identical sheets with one click.
Grain direction control – useful for wood cutting optimisation. A parameter let the user to specify the grain for parts and stock.
