Everything is a search engine for Windows. Everything allows you to instantly find files and/or folders by their names. For the results found, in the program window, the basic file operations usually available from the context menu of Windows Explorer are applicable. Everything does not use indexing of file contents during operation, so the search occurs instantly, in real time. By default, Everything is configured to display all the contents of your disks at once in alphabetical order and filter out inconsistencies as you type a query, but it can be more convenient to set the option "Hide results when the search string is empty" in the settings, in this case the data in the window will appear as you type a query.
