1. The thumbnail preview panel in the new version is detachable and resizable, so it is able to display thumbnails of any size and may be docked anywhere on the main window. Just grab the "Thumbnail preview" caption and drop it anywhere on the screen.
2. Rate WinCatalog and send feedback to developers directly from the program. Just click the Star button on the Help and support tab of the Ribbon toolbar, type your message and click Rate!
3. Status bar of the main window now displays short summary information about the selected folder. It shows a total count of objects located in the folder and number of folders and files.
4. You asked for it, you got it. Another most wanted feature is the ability to exclude files and folders from scanning by mask. This option can be configured on the General Scanning page under the Scanning section of the Program’s Options. This feature is switched on by default and contains 4 predefined masks to skip *.tmp, *.bak and all desktop.ini and thumbs.db files. You can easily add your own patterns to this list.
5. Now WinCatalog can automatically add numbers to rows when it generates HTML reports. If you use WinCatalog to generate printable lists of files, this new feature will make your reports even better.
